My professional pathway.
My approach to therapy is relational, somatically informed, and grounded in the belief that change takes time. I offer a space where we can slow down together—where you’re invited to explore your felt experience, turn gently toward discomfort, create spaciousness for what’s arising, and notice what brings light, curiosity, and strength.
I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College and view the world through a systemic lens—meaning I consider how relationships, family dynamics, cultural context, and environment all interact to shape your emotional and physical well-being.
My work is shaped by personal experience and professional training:
✦ I’ve found profound healing through my own somatic journey—learning to recognize how stress lived in my body and shifting long-held patterns
✦ I’m currently completing certification in Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping)
✦ I’ll begin Somatic Experiencing training through SE International later this year
✦ I integrate somatic awareness, relational insight, and nervous system regulation into session
✦ I bring real-life experience as a mother, a former team leader and manager, and someone who finds joy in food, nature, and everyday connection
This work is grounded in presence, curiosity, and a belief in your body’s innate ability to heal—gently, and in your own time.

Family Therapy in Madison, WI
Fortune Family Therapy is a space for people of all ages—children, teens, adults, and families—to show up as they are and grow into who they’re becoming.
Rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection with self and others, our work blends traditional talk therapy with body-based approaches. We are somatically informed, drawing on Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), movement, breath, and felt experience to support meaningful change.
We offer:
Somatic Psychotherapy – Using body awareness, movement, and sensation to process and integrate emotions
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) – Gentle tapping to regulate the nervous system and support emotional release
Cognitive Therapy – Identifying and shifting thought patterns that affect mood and behavior
Family & Couples Therapy – Strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening connection
Child & Adolescent Therapy – Supporting development through attuned, creative, and play-based approaches
Whether your journey begins with a whisper or a deep ache, we’ll meet you with curiosity, care, and the belief that change is possible.
