Couples Therapy

Rebuild Connection. Restore Communication. Rekindle Trust.

Relationships are complex. Whether you’re navigating constant conflict, feeling distant from your partner, or stuck in old patterns, couples therapy offers a space to slow down and look at what’s really happening—together.

At Fortune Family Therapy, we help couples:

  • Improve communication and reduce reactivity

  • Understand deeper emotional needs and patterns

  • Repair trust after ruptures or betrayal

  • Navigate life transitions (parenthood, loss, relocation, etc.)

  • Rekindle intimacy and connection

  • Co-parent more effectively.

A Systemic and Somatic Approach

We don't just talk about the problem—we explore how each partner's experiences, nervous system responses, and histories shape the dynamic. Using a systemic lens, we consider the larger context (family, culture, roles, gender, etc.) and a somatic lens to help bring awareness to what’s happening in the body, not just in the mind.

You’ll be supported in:

  • Slowing down reactive cycles

  • Practicing more embodied communication

  • Exploring stuck places with curiosity

  • Learning tools to self-regulate and co-regulate in relationship

What to Expect

  • 50-minute sessions for $120

  • Extended 75-minute sessions for $150 (recommended for high-conflict couples or deeper work)

  • Sessions available in person in Madison, WI

This work is collaborative and paced with care. Whether you’re in crisis or just want to strengthen your foundation, couples therapy can help you reconnect in a more meaningful, sustainable way.

Let’s begin the conversation.
