Intentional Group Closing

Open dialog exploring the week's theme, offering space to discuss personal experiences and connect deeply with fellow group members.

Quiet, dedicated time for personal writing using targeted prompts to explore underlying emotions, goals, and reflections on paper.

Mindful breathing and gentle grounding practices designed to settle the nervous system and anchor your insight before transition.

A brief final check-out to seal the container, share key takeaways, and gently conclude our shared circle for the week.

Why Expressive Journaling?

This group is informed by decades of research on expressive writing pioneered by Dr. James W. Pennebaker. Translating complex emotional experiences into written words helps organize thoughts, lowers biological stress markers, and increases psychological resilience.

By combining solitary writing with compassionate group holding, participants gain both personal clarity and meaningful shared connection.
